Kaydon Davis started this company because he had a long history with various skin conditions that some dermatologists could not identify. While cooking on vacation with friends, he contracted severe burns from hot oil on his face and hands, making him feel even less confident about his skin. Every product he was recommended had tons of chemicals and ingredients he couldn’t pronounce. Kaydon decided to research and develop formulas that would enhance the skin and aid with improving skin conditions. He was shocked to find that many of the house hold products we used are harming our bodies and making us dependent on them. He knew it was time to make a change. Kaydon made a vow to build all his products without any chemicals, basing his formulas in only what the Earth has given to us. The herbs are the healers.
At NBE, we believe in helping everyone have access to the best possible skincare. Our outreach programs provide our soaps and body butters to those in homeless shelters who have trouble accessing the skin care products they need to feel cleanly and confident.

If I leave my body butter in the sun will it melt?
Since we use all natural ingredients, they react with the environment they are in, meaning heat and sun may cause them to melt. We suggest leaving your body butter in a cool place. If your body butter does melt, put it in a cool place and it will re-solidify.
which body butter/ soap is right for me?
Each body butter and soap has a base of core ingredients that help nourish and hydrate your skin, no matter which one you choose. However, the additional ingredients that set each product apart, can have improved benefits based on your skin needs. For example, Rosemary Thyme is known for being an anti-inflammatory which can be helpful in eliminating acne. Check our product descriptions and social media for more helpful tips.
